Moray Bird Club – the Moray branch of the SOC

A new branch of the Scottish Ornithologists’ Club has been formed in Moray. Its full title is  ‘Moray Bird Club – the Moray branch of the SOC’.

We hope that the new branch will provide an opportunity for those who share a common interest in birds to meet for a regular social occasion. We shall usually have a speaker and the emphasis will be on local birds and birding – with plenty of time to get to know those whose names we may recognise but faces we do not!

In addition to evening meetings between autumn and spring, we shall have some outings, and we plan to offer the opportunity for club members to get involved in some surveys of our local birds. Please look under ‘News and Events’ for further information.
